This is another of my favorite reads, so many great hints, ideas and real solutions.
so Its time i share my “works for me wednesday” ideas .. I am pretty sure anything that i do many of you already do …or i even got the ideas from some of you! But what does it hurt to see an old idea brought back to life for new people to use.
What works for me is a small swinging door latch on my front door. Once the first toddler figure out the locks my anxiety lvl sored! I tryied the plastic door know locks that cover you knobs but… wow i had problems with those! so i ended up in the hardware section one day and found these, they were pretty cheap but easy to install on the door. it swings over and drops down to lock so that even if little people figuer out the locks and bults on the botten the door will still not open. This was bar far my best “baby proof” ( and last ) that i have ever gotten.
Now that my daughter is old enougth and figuered out the locks ..sigh.. time to use the latchs again! It sure is a sanity saver tho.. Even tho i can hear her turn the dead bult i cant always get there fast enought .. THIS GIRL IS FAST! and sadly she like to run stright to the road, so its a terrifing idea of her getting out alone.
Well as you see my problem has been solved…. well this ONE anyways
