what does she want from us??? Just are holiday traditions ! haha she would like to read about what everyones traditions are for the holidays. This one is actually harder for me because i know when i was younger we had the holiday traditions but some were along the road to adult hood and family of my own we have stopped those and i have not yet created my own! this is sad since my oldest is 10, we just always went to moms for holidays when it was the two of us. Now i am married and with a 3 and 4 yr olds ( well ok in dec and jan they will be .. picky picky!) This year i have desided to start doing thanksgiving at are home. With my mother out travaling in her rv we cant call her house the hub anymore, and the hubby and i had been the last couple of years going to his mothers ( i love zella and her house don’t get sad ) but this year i want to start my own family thing for the kids. I want to be the hub! I want to cook all day ( wish someone would clean up after? ) and invite the family’s and hubby’s work friends that do not have family. I want the house to be filled with the smell of cinnamon and food! Laughter and /cough sports ! coffee and chips! I want to bring a day of joy to everyone

Wow for me it was not that long ago! I ran into this very fun contest on Mom Coming Home. its her blogs 3 year birthday and she is reminiscing about her very first blog entry and wants us to think of ares too! She is going to be giving away 3 $20.00 amazon cards on November 30th.

My first blog was .. wow long! It was to share my weight loss journey with everyone and what i have been doing to kick start it and why i got motivated! What are you thankful for?

I Was getting my daily dose of Laura’s page and her hosted giveaways and came across this one. I first visited it because .. well they are giving away a 25 dollar gift card but her contest was to leave a comment on what you are thankful for.. It really had me thinking about what AM i thankful for? i don’t think we stop enough to think about this. We get so wrapped up in what we are not happy about, what needs to change, what we want that we don’t have.. and this time of year it only gets worse!

My perspectives have slowly been changing the last few months anyways, It helps that i found my way back to god and am really starting to fill a personal change inside myself in how i think and how i want to do things and i love it! This year for thanksgiving i will be doing it at are home. It gets hard because the little family that we have is torn between there own family’s, new family’s, the other persons family! No wonder people are stressed at the holidays! So i am offering to everyone to just bring who ever and they can celebrate with us if they want! I have had my husband ask his single friends at work if they need a place to have thanksgiving. I really just want make sure no one is alone that dose not have to be. It is such a small thing but .. some times the smallest thing can mean the most.

So anyway lol i tend to go off in what ever direction when I’m writing sorry back to the contest. So i left a comment there and realized that i couldn’t make a real list there or i would probable take the hole page up! So I wanted to share with everyone what i am thankful for and invite you to do the same

1. Finding my way back to god
2. A husband that works his butt off so that i can stay home with are kids

4. for my oldest son who put my life on track and i believed keep me from so bad choices

6. My sister in law ( that i can never compare up to ) inspires me and always forgives me
7. My brother ( whom i never see) for picking above wife !
8. For music, this week for casting crowns
9. To be an American and all the freedom that is ours
10. That all 3 of my children are healthy
11. That even tho i have falbymalogia it is not life threatening and is not arthritis like they thought
12. for the comfortable life we live.
13. That my mother never stopped telling me if i was doing the wrong thing ( even if i did not listen)
14. For my friends on wow that i need more then they need me
15. For Dave Ramsey’s radio show
16. For Dr. Laura’s radio show
15. For the endless Christian sites to help me when i need to hear the word
16. For who ever picked that first coffee bean and thought to EAT IT!
17. That my husbands work has such wonderful insurance, dental and vision coverage
18. For the “i love you” from any of my kids
19. For the ” are you ok mommy” if i cough what caring kids!
20. For the daily emails from my husband

ok so 20 is a fun number lol. The things you are thankful may not seem huge to someone reading them but in your heart each on your list is important and an awesome gift to you. todays awesome contests

it looks like Nspeaks is hosting there very first contest! I found out about it from ContestBeat. I just found them the other day too and they have some very cool contest going threw them! They are giving away 2 $50 gifts! One for posting a blog about it ( you know to generate the traffic!) and the second you have to sign up for his RSS feed and he will put a secret word in it and you email it to him/them when it comes out.

this is nspeaks first contest and is doing it with a bank. the first way you can win is by.. well one posting about it and linking back to them and one to there contest page! thats pretty easy

ok the second part is .. you have to sign up to there rss feed and there will be a post between nov 25th and 30th were there will be a unique code and then you email this to them….ok so you can enter both and the winner will be payed threw paypal!
